Welcome.
Our current project in Calumet Michigan, and the most fun we've had on an restoration.
The FUN is most likely due to many learning curves provided by previous work,
but also - we can see ourselves living in it for quite a while.

Our favorite aspects so far - are the breathable, old world lime and clay plastering,
using natural earth pigments that provide endless possibilities of color.
I'm not going to tell you it's easy, but oh so worth it.
After hours of painstakingly removing mega layers of wall paper - (ask Jeff),
we found perfectly re-usable old plaster. With a little patching and troweling, we applied
fresh layers of lime, which will move with the house through time.
EcoPerks: Pure lime plasters are very healthy - virtually VOC free and if you like Italian stucco, it's..."wow" !
This project started with new plumbing, electric, and continues with tile mosaics etc....
